It is a conscious choice to show contrasts between various shades of shiny and warm dead gold and its antagonist, the mysterious black. In chromatics, gold represents the spiritual, black stands for material values. Spiritual, that is, artistic values are represented by gold-colored fabric manipulations, involving form generation and surface shaping at the same time, which in a given case is represented by textiles shaped to a human figure, resulting in special and unique GIORGIA FONYODI garments. Material, that is, economic values are symbolized by suffocating lacquer pants, depicting a loss of importance in traditions and values and drawing attention to a changing world.
